Recent research on results of that study found that a guaranteed basic income * reduced the # of hospital visits and * lowered the high-school drop-out rate
Not to mention ensured nobody had to choose between paying hydro and buying bread...

The example of the billions given to Wal-Mart as its workers paid poverty wages is a good reminder of inherent flaws in the Canada Jobs Grant.
